About
Dr. Marina is a pediatric dentist and native New Yorker. She received her undergraduate education at CUNY Hunter College with a degree in Biochemistry. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Marina completed a year of General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and then went on to complete two years of Pediatric Dental Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She specializes in Behavior Management and Special Needs patient care.
Dr. Marina strives to establish a great rapport with each patient catering to their individual needs. She believes education for preventative dentistry for both the patient and the parents along with good oral hygiene habits are the foundation for great oral health care. She takes the time to help each child feel comfortable in the chair and uses gentle techniques to achieve treatment so that each patient has a pleasant dental visit.
Dr. Marina is board eligible,an active member of the ADA, AAPD and Brooklyn/Queens County Dental society. She stays up to date with the latest news and innovations in the pediatric dental realm by taking courses and advancing her techniques.
Outside of Dentistry Dr. Marina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines and reading novels of all genres.
